Our well established client in Skipton are looking to incease their work force and are loong to recruit a Press Operator
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The day-to-day press machine setting & operation, clean down / maintenance, product inspection, packing & product flow.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up & operate the press machine.
* Inspection of manufactured parts & material prior production run.
* Inspection of completed batches prior to packing.
* Report on any defects, machine issues or packing requirements.
OTHER TASKS
* Continual production processing & product flow including machine & area clean down / maintenance.
* Other tasks as requested
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
* Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes is an advantage but not essential, a willingness to work is more important.
* The operation is at a basic level so it would suit someone wanting to start in manufacturing or is looking for a basic operative role or has specific job-related support requirements.
* All training will be provided as required.
This is a permanent position, subject to a 3-month trial period.
Hours: 16 hours per week minimum – work hours can be tailored to suit
