Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with demonstrable utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project delivery experience. This role is strictly for candidates who have successfully managed solar renewable energy projects through construction and commissioning.
Applicants without direct Solar PV project delivery experience will not be considered.
Role Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and co-located BESS projects from financial close through construction, energisation and handover.
*
Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
*
Oversee installation of PV arrays, inverters, HV/MV infrastructure and BESS systems including PCS and EMS integration.
*
Manage programme risk, cost control, contract administration and variation processes under EPC frameworks (FIDIC experience advantageous).
*
Coordinate grid connection compliance, commissioning, testing and final handover documentation.
*
Act as primary interface with investors, grid operators, engineers and regulatory bodies.
Essential Requirements
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV projects.
*
Proven experience managing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations.
*
Strong understanding of grid connection processes and renewable energy construction methodologies.
*
Experience delivering projects typically above 10MW capacity.
*
Excellent leadership and commercial awareness.
Only candidates with hands-on Solar PV project management experience will be considered.
Desirable
*
Experience delivering hybrid Solar + BESS projects.
*
Familiarity with HV systems and renewable EPC contract structures.
*
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
Working Conditions
Primarily site-based during construction phases, with travel required to project locations
