Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join a leading Law firm based in Basingstoke working within their residential conveyancing department. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
– Daily liaison with clients, keeping them informed throughout the process
– Assisting with file opening and closing processes
– Drafting documents and correspondence
– Preparing invoices, completion statements, financial statements and assisting with billing and payment process
– Assisting the team with any administration duties
– Taking new enquiries and sending out formal quotations to potential new clients.
– Providing excellent customer service

Legal Secretary Requirements:
– Previous legal experience
– Previous knowledge of residential conveyancing is essential
– Strong administrative experience
– Highly organised
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ambitious, enthusiastic and a team player

Legal Secretary Package:
– Negotiable salary depending on experience
– Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with a 5pm finish on a Friday
