Commercial gas engineer
Brighton/Portsmouth

We are a privately owned national facilities management with 3 offices across the UK, specialising in hard services including Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services for over 20 years.
We are looking for an experienced commercial gas engineer to work across high end retail and studio sites
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Diagnostics
Inspect, test, and diagnose commercial gas appliances, heating systems, boilers and pipework.
Use diagnostic tools to identify leaks, blockages, or faulty components. Service & Maintenance
Perform routine servicing of commercial gas appliances (boilers, heaters, kitchen equipment).
Clean and adjust burners, valves, filters, and safety devices.
Ensure systems meet performance and efficiency standards. Repairs & Replacement
Repair or replace defective components such as regulators, thermostats, heat exchangers, and valves.
Carry out emergency repairs to minimize downtime for businesses.
Ensure repairs are compliant with gas safety regulations. Requirements
Domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, HTR1, CENWAT)
Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1/CIGA1/CORT1/CDGA/TPCP1)
Health & Safety awareness with a proactive approach. Package:
Basic salary up to £48,000
40 hour working week
Local work – 30 sites
26 + 8 Bank holidays
3% pension
Overtime available
Private medical
