CAD Technician
Location: Birkenhead
Salary: £38,000 to £45,000
An opportunity has opened for a CAD Technician to join a manufacturing company based in Birkenhead. The ideal candidate will have a background working as a CAD Designer or similar and have experience working with AutoCAD (2D and 3D). You will also have experience designing facades like doors, windows or similar.
CAD Technician Key Skills:
* Experienced CAD Designer, CAD Technician or similar
* Experience using AutoCAD 2D and 3D
* Background designing facades – doors, windows etc
* Any LogiKal experience would be hugely beneficial
* Understanding engineering drawings
* Any architecture knowledge would be a bonus
CAD Technician Responsibilities:
* Working with the design and engineering team creating drawings of facades
* Using AutoCAD 2D and 3D
* Designing windows, doors, frames etc
* Checking your own work and making modifications
* Working with the engineers to ensure drawings are to specs provided
* Keep details and drawings up to date on softwares
