Dispatch Operative
£13.00 (37.5 hours per week)
Bedford
Shifts Available:
* 6am – 2pm (Mon-Fri)
* 2pm – 12am (Midnight) (Mon-Thurs)
We are looking for staff to work in the busy Dispatch department of a global, manufacturing company in Bedford.
Training is provided and experience in a similar environment is an advantage.
Key tasks:
* Duties include the secure packaging of large, heavy computer equipment before they are shipped to customers worldwide.
* Ensuring the work area is kept clean and tidy.
* While the work environment is busy with an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere, there is also pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Skills and Experience
* Applicants need good communication skills and must be team players.
* There is a physical aspect to the job which requires being on your feet all day.
* We are looking for enthusiastic people who have a positive, can-do attitude.
These positions begin on a temporary, full-time basis but there are opportunities to secure permanent employment
